'Meadow ladies' is apparently a Welsh term for sheep. For those who don't know, there are lots of sheep in Wales and the people who live there are known for being rather fond of them.
"We've never had a sound file come down for a remix with so many samples in ... there was literally hundreds and hundreds and hundreds. Trying to work which ones to use was quite difficult ... [we] took out all the springing boing noises and the sheep and the chickens. We were going to time stretch the sheep and distort it and do something nasty with it but we didn't get round to it in the end." (source)
