Mike Truman: "Electrotek really came about because [it was] our studio and production company name ... I did this track while we were on the road ...while we were in Australia in like 2000 ... [it has] these vocal samples over the top and with all the Hybrid stuff we always kind of write the original tracks.We just want to make a point of not regurgitating old music ... make sure the Hybrid stuff was completely and utterly original. Because it had vocal samples on it, it didn't really fit in with Hybrid so we decided to put it out as [Electrotek]." (source)
